Olympic Wrestling Betting Odds Favor USA’s Kyle Dake To Win Gold

Men’s and women’s freestyle wrestling and men’s Greco-Roman wrestling at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics have begun and will continue through this Sunday’s gold medal matches for each remaining weight class and discipline.

There are six weight classes for each type, making a total of 54 medals up for grabs. Sarah Hildebrant and Amit Elor have already won gold for the USA in Paris, proving to be the best-of-the-best in 50kg and 63kg freestyle, respectively.

Online sportsbooks have futures available for six of the categories, and the wrestler that holds the most certain odds to win gold is USA’s Kyle Dake.

Who Is Kyle Dake

Dake wrestled for Cornell University from 2010 to 2013, winning four national championships in four different weight classes during his time competing in the NCAA. Dake also won wrestling world championships in 2018 and 2019 at 79 kilograms and again in 2021 and 2022 at 74 kilograms.

In the Tokyo Summer Olympics, Kyle won the bronze medal. His quest for gold in 2024 begins tomorrow with the opening round, quarterfinals, and semifinals. The gold and bronze medal matches will take place on Saturday.
