AEW Dynasty Betting: Will Moxley Retain Against Swerve?

  • AEW’s Dynasty Pay-Per-View Begins April 6th At 7 p.m. EST
  • Tickets To AEW Dynasty Are Available via Ticketmaster

No pro wrestler has held the AEW World Championship belt for more days than Jon Moxley. He’ll have been the champ for 576 total days by the time AEW Dynasty begins, well ahead of MJF in second place with 406 days.

Swerve Strickland will challenge Moxley for the strap on Sunday after next. If Strickland wins, it will be his second reign in as many years.

The oddsmakers at BetUS have created a line on next Sunday’s title bout, and they are favoring Swerve to win by a slim margin.

AEW World Championship

  • Swerve Strickland -140
  • Jon Moxley EVEN

In fact, the moneyline odds are so close between the two competitors that Moxley is drawing even money at the moment.

“I am the most dangerous man in AEW. In Philadelphia, I take back the AEW World Title and continue to lead the Dynasty Era. While I do that, you have fun continuing to play Jon Moxley on TV.”

What’s not so close at AEW betting sites are the odds for the women’s world championship.

Women World Championship

  • Toni Storm -300
  • Megan Bayne +200

Champion Toni Storm holds a commanding lead in the betting odds and is rated 300 points ahead of Megan Bayne. Storm is currently in her fourth reign as champion, winning it most recently at February’s Grand Slam event in her home country of Australia over Mariah May.

International Championship

  • Kenny Omega -500
  • Ricochet +300
  • Mike Bailey +300

Kenny Omega won the International Championship from Konosuke Takeshita earlier this month at AEW Revolution. At Dynasty, Omega will put the title up for grabs in a three-way match against Ricochet and Mike Bailey.

The betting odds imply that Omega will retain his title and holds a 600-point lead over Ricochet and Bailey.

Two additional matches have been announced for Dynasty, but we’ve not found any betting odds on either.

  • AEW World Trios Championship Match – Death Riders vs. Rated FTR – We expect the Death Riders to get the win, especially if their teammate, Moxley, ends up losing to Strickland. FTR has been lost in the shuffle as of late, and it makes no sense to put them over a top team at this point.
  • ROH World Championship Mask vs. Title Match – Chris Jericho vs. Bandido – We expect Bandido to beat Jericho following his recent unmasking attempt.
