AEW All In Odds Imply FTR Retains Titles Despite Cash Wheeler Arrest

There are several big matches that have been added to the card of AEW’s All In pay-per-view, which will broadcast this Sunday from London’s Wembley Stadium.

Nearly 80,000 wrestling fans are expected to be in attendance, a record for a European crowd and easily the most ever to watch an AEW show in person.

While not the main event or the most featured bout, most of the attention is now directed at the AEW Tag Team Championship match, where Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood of FTR will face the Young Bucks.

The odds for betting on AEW heavily favor FTR to win the rubber match with the Young Bucks and prove that they are, indeed, the greatest tag team of this generation.

  • Young Bucks +180

However, Cash Wheeler of FTR was arrested on August 3rd for brandishing a firearm during what is being described as a road rage incident. It is uncertain whether Wheeler or the other party was the aggressor.

AEW has already commented that the fight is still on for Sunday. The following tweet from the official AEW X account is hyping the match, and this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite will feature a sitdown between the two tag teams.

Prior to the main event of All In between champion MJF and challenger Adam Cole, they’ll be teaming together to go for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships on the pre-show. They are not favored to win, which begs the question of why the match has been booked in the first place.

Because CM Punk never actually lost the AEW World Championship prior to his 9-month layoff, he now carries the X-emblazoned “Real World Championship” around with him. Punk is a dominant favorite to tie up his all-time series with Samoa Joe at two wins a piece in Wembley.

  • Samoa Joe +425

The aforementioned All In main event between the recently established besties, MJF and Adam Cole, features a betting line where the champion is expected to win. Wagers of $3 would be required to earn a dollar betting on MJF to retain.

While there are no odds on the boards for a debut, there is the potential for a guest appearance to occur at All In due to the magnitude of the event. Current big-time performers that are not contracted by the WWE include Goldberg and Mercedes Moné, the wrestler formerly known as Sasha Banks.

Goldberg was the subject of AEW rumors upon his contract’s expiration at the end of 2022. Moné is currently wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling, a promotion that has worked with All Elite Wrestling several times in the past.

Due to the event occurring in England, AEW All In will begin at 1 PM EST and can be purchased for $49.99 at Bleacher Report. AEW’s All Out pay-per-view occurs just a few days later, on September 3rd, in Chicago.
