2025 Royal Rumble Betting Preview: Cena, Charlotte Top The Odds

A week from this Saturday in Indianapolis, Indiana’s Lucal Oil Stadium, the 2025 Royal Rumble will take place and award a male and female winner a shot at a title of their choosing at WrestleMania.

Betting On The Men’s Royal Rumble Winner

On the debut episode of RAW on Netflix, John Cena made an appearance and notified a captive audience that there wasn’t much chance of him winning a record-breaking 17th* world title during his final run as a pro wrestler.

During Cena’s promo, it dawned on him that a Royal Rumble win would give him a shot at a 17th title at WrestleMania wihtout the need to re-earn his spot over months of competition.

The capacity crowd seemed to warm up to that prospect, and so have the top pro wrestling betting sites. Weeks ago, Cena was in the middle of the pack of potential Rumble winners, but now he leads the odds with a commanding +150 moneyline.

  • Drew McIntyre +3500
  • Randy Orton +2800

  • Goldberg +7000
  • Brock Lesnar +7000
  • Bron Breakker +4000
  • Damian Priest +4000

CM Punk was injured in last year’s Rumble, forcing him to miss WrestleMania XL completely. Punk is back at full health and intent on finally securing a main event match at the Super Bowl of pro wrestling.

Punk’s odds of +250 place him and Cena as the only two with any real shot at being the last man remaining in the ring.

Betting On The Women’s Royal Rumble Winner

The field of women feature a lot more potential winners, as there are at least seven that have a decent chance according to the odds.

2025 Royal Rumble Odds To Win – Women’s

  • Charlotte Flair +200
  • Becky Lynch +250
  • Rhea Ripley +300
  • Iyo Sky +350
  • Bianca Belair +500
  • Jade Cargill +600
  • Alexa Bliss +700
  • Liv Morgan +1600
  • Tiffany Stratton +1600
  • Nia Jax +1800
  • Asuka +2200
  • Naomi +2500
  • Jordynne Grace +2800
  • Natalya +4000
  • Bayley +5000
  • Lash Legend +6000

Charlotte has been off TV since late 2023 due to a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, and it makes sense for her to re-enter the title picture upon her return to the ring.

Becky Lynch resigned with the WWE earlier this month, and is rated just behind Charlotte in the Royal Rumble futures. Both Lynch and Charlotte seem to possess a women’s title more often than not, and they would make the perfect final two to battle it out for a shot at another reign.

Rhea Ripley will likely be in the mix at the end of the match, but since she’s the current Women’s World Champ, it doesn’t make much sense for her to win.

*Ric Flair has actually won a world title on no less than 21 occasions despite how the WWE chooses to rewrite history.
